Spa Road Looking down towards the Dorchester Road. The land here was sold by Richard Ffolliot Eliot in 1890 and the building of some of the larger houses began. |
St Aldhelm's Church Built in 1939 in Spa Road on part of the land originally belonging to Radipole Spa, from which the road takes its name. It is a daughter church to St Ann's, and was consecrated in 1940. |

Abbots Court Two blocks of flats, built on the site of a mansion of the same name which was built in 1895 by John Bagg, a local builder and Mayor of Weymouth. Bagg was declared bankrupt in 1910, and by 1915 the house was occupied by Thomas Burberry founder of the Burberry Company. |
Site of Radipole Spa Jubilee Court, built on the site of the old Radipole Laundry which in turn had been built on land of the old Spa around the turn of the last century. The sulphur spring of the Spa was discovered in 1830 and buildings were subsequently erected on the site for the public to take the waters. |

Remains of Radipole Halt Opened in 1905 and closed to passengers in 1983, Radipole Halt served the local community in the age before motor cars. The only visible remains are the barriers at the top right of the picture, looking towards Weymouth. |
The former Pig & Whistle Built around the 1840s, at the same time as its neighbours, Bridge Buildings, this was once the Bridge Inn which later became the Pig and Whistle, standing at the junction of Spa Road and Dorchester Road. |
